The Proxy is a straight flying putter. It can hold a very straight line even with low power. Throwers with moderate power will be able to achieve hyzers, panning anhyzers, as well as straight shots depending on the angle of release. It features a similar comfortable feel as the Envy which makes it very reliable and forgiving.
I love this disc as a putter rather than a throwing disc, I have one of these and a firm one. The only thing to be careful of is the roll, I use a soft Reko on steep hills to be safe.

Dead straight out of the box
Bought this to be an out of the box replacement for my beat in Shields, it's certainly the dead straight flyer I was looking for. Feel wise it's a touch shallower and so adjusting to the feel is slightly different. It also feels a bit faster, so for spinny approaches it's taking some adjusting but it handles power very well. MVP's capabilities to make flat torque resistant discs means this is a beauty to forehand too! Having also bought this in the hard plastic, the two are relatively similar. This one has a touch more give but both have good grip.
