Aerobie are a brand that knows about flying aerial objects.

The SharpShooter #1 is an overstable fairway driver in the Aerobie disc golf line.

Unlike their distance driver, the Epic, the SharpShooter #1 is a more traditional disc golf driver in terms of symmetry.

Featuring unique grooves around the outside edge, you won’t find another Disc Golf disc as unique as this!

The SharpShooter #1 is fairly fast and has a 2.1cm rim.

The SharpShooter #1 is made of a very hard, but durable plastic. Aerobie golf disc plastic is perhaps the hardest blend used by any disc manufacturer.

This disc is very overstable, and will experience a large hook at the end of the flight.

We're also told this disc floats well in water!

Overstable, Overlooked

As someone who doesn't like to carry many overstable discs, the speed of the Sharpshooter #1 is useful for reliable fading/headwind shots over a range of different distances. The flight is slower and not as overstable as a firebird and with a touch more glide. Flies more like one of those fresh, beefy champ teebirds. The plastic is firm but incredibly grippy. Feels like a firmer innova 'Nexus' I would say. The grooves do not feel strange to me at all- they weren't as pronounced as they look on photographs, and definitely assist in grip confidence. Haven't thrown for long enough to speak of its durability but it appears not to scuff as easily as most baseline plastics (aerobie describes it as premium but definitely feels more baseline-y than traditional Star/ Champion variations). I love it personally, but I do love weird dscs and am not a big lover of traditional premium plastics for most molds
