Eclipse 2.0 is the next generation of glow plastic from MVP. It is said to be the best glowing plastic on the market. It has the perfect mixture of gummy grip and firm hold, perfect for throwing in the day or night.
The Envy is a slightly overstable putt and approach disc.
The Envy has a smooth modern feel that fits in the hand perfectly, lending confidence for both putt and approach duties. The Envy exhibits reliable high-speed stability and a minimal fade. With a slightly lower profile and cruising speed than the Ion and Anode class, the Envy is a uniquely “lid-like” stable putter.
As a disc I never really got on with the envy. In the eclipse plastic it's definitely very overstable, with enough torque resistance to maybe take a 70% power forehand without really starting to turn over. My main issue was that it flies too fast for me to feel like I had much touch with it, limiting it to a driving putter role that I didn't often use, and that's mainly why this is 4 stars. The eclipse plastic has great grip to it though and the glow is fantastic in terms of brightness and longevity.
