    Description

Play smart with the Järn. The Järn is overstable enough to beat the headwinds and still fade predictably. This disc is the perfect relationship partner to a controlled approach game.

The disc’s flight pattern makes it just as competent for touchy flex shots as for flat-out hyzers. Its low profile makes it easy to grip and easy to release.

    Järn is Swedish for iron.

Kastaplasts answer to the Discmania Tactic, the Westside Harp, the Discraft Zone or the Innova Pig.

    Great plastic

In terms of the flight, this flies much like the numbers suggest. The K1 plastic has a really nice feel, firm but with a little give and provides a great grip. Sadly I just find the shape of the Jarn a bit uncomfortable for forehand shots with its deep but narrow rim but still a great disc.

    Jarn K1

Less stable than my K3 Jarn.. and a lot more dome to it… but compliments it quite well… feels great for forehand approachs

    K1 JARN Review

It's a great disc for the bag, I am a huge Kastaplast fan. However, compared to the K1 GOTE, the K1 JARN would be my 2nd choice for approach shots. I would like it to be slightly heavier and have a lower fade number. But like all my K discs, it has a great feel. Glad to have it in my bag. I probably need to throw it a lot more to really learn how best to use it. It's not like my favourite SVEA that worked for me straight out of the box..

    Great

I shipped to Austria. Package came within estimated time I think. The Järn is a good approach disc. It’s much more stable than the buzzz which makes the Järn best for hyzer approach shots. Not a midrange disc, as the distance is limited. The K1 plastic is really grippy and durable. Would recommend for headwind shots, where you would usually throw a Buzzz.

Does what it says on the Tin

Yup. Overstable mid/upshot. Maybe doesn’t fly as far as a mid but reliable overstable disc. Seems to have a limit on distance. Feels like a mid in the hand with no bead. K1 plastic is slightly tacky and has a good flex to it. Only go in my bag for windiest of days but will definitely hold that slot over other similar discs.
