Prodigy seems to be everyone’s favourite company to hate unless it the PA-3, but for me the 200/300 plastic is some of the best base line plastic on the market. Right amount of tackiness and flex for my grip a throwing style. 300 plastic takes a surprising amount of time to break in.
The PA-4 is an odd blunt rimmed disc which may not appeal to everyone. It’s a bit of a strange cousin to the PA-3. It does not have a bead and in the hand, when putting I dont notice the slightly odd shape. I hyzer putter, which is fine from close in but the further out you go it becomes an issue which is why I have switched to the PA-4. New it is very neutral flier but the real benefit of this disc is when it beats in and becomes a flippy touch shot gem. Very controllable on putting and short touch shot lines. The rim shape is noticeable when throwing this disc at pace (catches my fingers on release) and as such I use other favourites (Prodigy PX-3) for throwing.
I have only given this a three star. It is what it is and although I putt with it is not as versatile as a thrower/putter as other discs. Maybe worth a try if you want something straighter and don't mind the unjustified anti-prodigy ridicule from your mates.
