    Description

The Midari is the midrange disc in the Prodiscus line.

This stable flyer has a great feel and goes where you want it to go. It is a fairly slow flyer for a midrange, but flies straight, with a sharp end of flight fade.

This disc is available in basic, premium and ultrium plastic.

    Amateurs review of the midari

So looks wise, the midair is beautiful. Nice flat profile with a sleek colour to it. Flight wise, it flies super straight with myself favouring it as a forehand disc. My furthest throw was around 240ft with it not requiring much of a flick for it to glide nice and straight to that distance. I’d recommend this disc a lot!

    Straight midrange

The midari has the feel in the hand of a Roc, and has the flight of a beat in straight one. Compared to the premium, my ultrium midari has a touch more dome to it. In ultrium the midari holds a straight line with a very gentle fade at the end, as compared to the basic midari which may finish a touch to the right on a gentle drift. I think considering that the only other midranges offered by prodiscus are purely utility discs (the fantastically fun stari and troijas, a flippy glidey trick shot disc and a midrange tilt respectively) I'm disappointed in the lack of verstatility the midari offers. It doesn't have the torque resistance to hold up to forehands at all really, and isn't overstable enough to give it much shot shaping ability or a point in cycling them. It does go straight fantastically well backhand, but that's about all it does. I think the jokeri will cover the majority of slots in the prodiscus fans bag, and the midari will probably only come out for straight shots that need a hint more distance.
